Display/Symptom Things To Check Solution
Cycle Fault 1

During Sterilization Mode, chamber temperature reached 6°F above the designated sterilization temperature

  1. An extremely large steam leak (Statim 5000). Replace cassette seal, lid or tray
  2. An extremely large load (Statim 5000)
  3. Boiler does not heat up, check thermal fuse by performing a Continuity Test using an ohmmeter. Check for continuity between J13 & lower terminal on boiler. If reading is 1, thermal fuse is defective and needs to be replaced. If reading is 0, then thermal fuse is good. If the fuse is defective, replace and check water pump using Pump Tester Bottle
  4. Check resistance reading between J13 & J14 on board. Reading should be approximately 11 Ω (ohms)
  5. Check for line voltage at terminals J13 & J14 during warm up. If the reading is good proceed to next step. If bad, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is defective
  6. Check for line voltage at boiler terminals
  1. Replace Cassette Seal Part #SCS029-247
  2. Reduce Load (Remove a few items from the cassette)
  3. Replace Thermal Fuse: Statim 2000 G4 Part #SCF006-9029 or Statim 5000 G4 Part # SCF006-9061
