Detecting a leaky check valve just got easier. The AllClaveParts tubing used in this kit is transparent, making a leak easy to detect!

Early detection of a leaky check valve can prevent a costly repair. Transparent tubing … it’s the AllClaveParts Advantage!

In addition, the transparent tubing can be cut to size so that this Kit fits all Statim 2000 Models

How To Replace The Statim 2000 CHECK VALVE

The AllClaveParts Advantage

  1. Turn off and unplug the autoclave
  2. Remove the tubing connecting the Check Valve to the compressor
  3. Use a 7/16" Open End Wrench to secure fitting on boiler and remove the Check Valve using a 1/2" Open-End Wrench
  4. After the Check Valve is removed, clean any debris from the boiler fitting. Warning: Incomplete removal of all debris from the boiler fitting before installing new check valve may result in valve failure
  5. Apply approximately 3-4 drops of the enclosed Threadlocker 545 (Part #RPA369) to completely cover the threads on the boiler fitting
  6. Install new Check Valve hand-tight onto boiler fitting. Use a 7/16" Open-End Wrench to secure the boiler fitting and tighten the new Check Valve with a 1/2" Open-End Wrench (approximately 3-4 turns)

  7. CAUTION Care must be exercised to ensure that fittings on boiler are properly wrenched when loosening or tightening mating fittings. Failure to do so may result in damage to the fitting on the boiler. If damage occurs, it will be an expensive repair that can only be made at the Factory's repair (Scican) facility. There are no "field serviceable" options for this type of damage

  8. Cut the new transparent tubing (Part# RPT373) to size and secure to the barb fitting on the check valve and air compressor using the Hi-Temp Wire Ties (Part #RPT480) provided
  9. Run a test cycle or two to ensure machine runs properly
