Midmark M9 & M11 Error C326: DOOR MODE





Display/Symptom Cause What to Check Solution
C326: DOOR MODE
DOOR CLOSED
OPEN DOOR

Door switch indicates that the door remains closed one second after door motor has attempted to open door.
Door / dam gasket(s) sticking
Trays not pushed in properly
Inspect Door and Dam gaskets for proper installation and any signs of sticking

Be sure trays slide in properly
Install door / dam gaskets properly

Remove any obstructions that may prevent the trays from sliding in completely

Door spring missing and/or damaged Inspect door spring for damage
(If the door motor releases the latch, but the door remains closed: replace the door spring)
Replace door spring if necessary

Door motor system / latch "hanging up" Remove the door cover, and RH side panel

With the door closed, run the "Door Open Test" (Click Here For Instructions). Watch for any mechanical issues that may prevent the door from opening

Refer to: Service Diagnostics (I/O Test) (Click Here for Instructions)
If mechanical issues are apparent, Adjust / replace door motor system as necessary
Door pins / latch binding With door open, door handle should move Up & Down freely

Inspect latch mechanism for wear / damage
Clean door pins & latch mechanism

Replace worn / damaged components
Door switch or PC board malfunctioning Perform: Door Switch Testing Follow instructions in test procedures
Residual pressure in chamber Check chamber pressure when door motor is energized

If pressure is above 0.72 psi (5 kPa), check for blockage in the pressure sensor tubing between the PC board and the chamber

In addition, inspect the filter located inside the chamber to be sure it is not clogged
Clear any restriction that could prevent chamber pressure from reaching the pressure sensor on PC board
