The Bellows Style With It's Extra Convolutions, Is Designed To Last Longer Than The Diaphragm Style

SERVICE TIP: AllClaveParts now offers two different Air Vent Bellows Assemblies – Part #RCB100-849 and RCB089-787. There are two different styles of assemblies – the diaphragm style and the bellows style. Here’s the difference

Currently, the AllClaveParts RCB089-787 and the OEM’s are both Diaphragm Style assemblies. The Diaphragm is the older style and has only one convolution doing all the work.

The other is a Bellows Style assembly – the AllClaveParts RCB100-849. This style assembly has several convolutions doing all of the work so it lasts much longer than the diaphragm style. Now you have a choice…It’s the AllClaveParts Advantage!

How To Replace The Midmark M7 Autoclave Bellows Assembly

Applies To Units With Serial Numbers CP-1000 Thru CP-1061, CR-1000 Thru CR-1113, CS-1000 Thru CS-1569, And RB-1000 Thru RB-7193)

NOTE: Older units which do not have a Serial Number prefix of CP-xxxx, CR-xxxx, CS-xxxx, or RB-xxxx were manufactured by Sybron Corp and not by Midmark.

However, a retrofit kit for the bellows assembly is available. If the unit has already been retrofitted with a Midmark style bellows, use these instructions . If not retrofitted, then you need to use the RCB002-845 (OEM Part #H284709 / 144382) Bellows Assembly

A. Removing The Midmark Bellows Assembly
  1. Remove Cover Assembly Click Here For Instructions

  2. Warning: Make sure unit is vented and cool before attempting to make repairs. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or burns.
